Encouragée par les arts sous toutes ses formes, Joanne découvre très tôt qu'un talent artistique naturel
l'habite. Originaire de Laval et demeurant, maintenant, dans les Laurentides, Joanne a fait carrière dans le domaine
culturel et des archives. Depuis, 2001, l'aquarelle est l'essence même de son quotidien. Elle ajoute: "Mes sujets d'inspiration
font partis de la nature qui m'entoure. Je croque pleinement dans l'arrière-pays et en savoure toutes ses nuances, ses formes,
ses couleurs..."
Joanne a partipé à plusieurs expositions de taille et est récipiendaire de prix d'honneur pour ses oeuvres.
Ces dernières se retrouvent dans quelques collections privées.
Joanne s'est jointe à Arts Morin Heights en 2005.

Buoyed by arts in general, Joanne found herself possessed by a natural artistic talent. Her work environment
helped her have access to art books and archives in which she discovered all the richness of words and images. This fueled
her passion for the arts. After experiencing different mediums, she was enthraled with the subtleness of watercolours,
hence paving the road to artistic bliss.
It's been said of Joanne: " She structures her composition with softness, imagination and precision
which creates a unique transparency in her work. Her play with lighting and shading shows strong inner feelings that spill
on the canvas." Joanne finds inspiration in the nature that surrounds her and she enjoys subjects that have a story
to tell.
