Melissa is a self taught photographer and video artist who has worked as such since 1993.
However, fine art photography has been her passion since 1998. Her explorations of the detail of the smaller parts which make
up our whole is greatly influenced by the human body and nature, which nourishes it.
Group and solo exhibitions in the Laurentians, Montreal and England.
2002 Danny Taran Creative Photography Award (Saidye Bronfman Center for the Arts).
Joined Arts Morin Heights in 2000.
Mélissa est une artiste autodidacte en photographie et vidéo depuis 1993. Mais sa passion pour
la photographie des beaux-arts la pousse à découvrir ce monde mystérieux depuis 1998. Son soucis du détail des particules
qui composent notre ''tout'' est grandement influencé par le corps humain et par la nature qui le nourri. Elle remarque: ''
Je suis sensible aux différences culturelles, mais je demeure très attentive aux fils communs de la vie qui composent l'humanité!''.
Expositions de groupe et en solo dans les Laurentides, à Montréal et Londres.
Lauréate de la bourse Danny Taran pour Photographie Créative (2002) du Centre des arts Saydie
Bronfman.
S'est jointe à Arts Morin Heights en 2000.
